Porsche 356a T2
Delivered new on 19th June 1959 to Mr McGardle of Bad Homburg, Germany and some years later exported to the USA.This is the car as it was originally imported from the USA bought by the previous owner unseen but he was told it was in very good condition!

The car wasn't in such good condition after all
and needed a complete strip down with new metal inserted where required and a complete bare metal respray as can been seen in the next series of pictures. The work was carried out by Porsche 356 specialists PRS Services.

The body work well underway.

Almost ready for paint.

Freshly painted body!

The gearbox stripped out of the car.

Now it’s time to look at the engine...

The engine finished.

We bought the car so we could use it in the UK and abroad.
One of its first trips in our hands was to Goodwood
.

On the eve of Goodwood Revival 2021 we were lucky enough to have lunch with the Earl of March at Goodwood House.
