Car Facts Disc
Share your car's personalised trivia
Bring your passion to life
Share detailed information with fellow car enthusiasts on your pride and joy, including its history, restoration journey, photos or videos in a really simple and fun way using our Car Facts Disc.
Whether you race, participate in events as an exhibitor or simply have your classic car parked on a high street, there will always be enthusiasts that find themselves stood by your car wishing they could have learned its full ’story’ - and that is the exact reason behind our Car Facts Disc - we wanted to make sharing of car stories a breeze.
“After years of attending owners’ club events and classic car shows, where information about individual cars was patchy at best, and often completely absent, I realised that learning about vehicles was virtually impossible unless you were lucky enough to meet the owner. With Car Facts Disc we have created a really simple method for enthusiasts, like me, to document and share our car facts, and trivia, in a way that allows anyone with a smartphone, standing by the car, to view it quickly and easily” - Classic Car “Nut” and Founder of Car Facts Disc Paul Tombs
Mark Donoghue, Aston Martin Owners Club - Concours Chief Judge says:
“I just love the ‘Car Facts Disc’ idea. Brilliant”
We're proud to have displayed our Car Facts Disc on a winning car at an event described as "Perhaps the greatest ever gathering of collector cars in the UK".
Using the Car Facts Disc
Each of our Car Facts Discs comes with its own unique BuzzCode for you to personalise and upload your car’s information to, using our website.
The disc itself resembles the old style tax disc and once displayed on your windscreen, it allows all passers by to point at and scan it using their own smartphone camera to view your car’s personalised trivia 24/7 with just a single touch of a button.
Our Car Facts Disc is ideal for sharing your car’s history, restoration journey, photos and videos. You can also choose to register your car’s availability for weddings, film hire or even advertise for sale.
Try it out for yourself
Here’s a live Car Facts Disc for you to point at and scan using your own smartphone camera.
It belongs to Will at Malkin Motorsport and features one of his finest projects. This Avenger is a recreation of the 1976 BTCC Championship winning car as driven by Bernard Unett.
(You can also view his story here).
This next Car Facts Disc belongs to Duncan and shows the restoration story of his beloved E-Type Jaguar.
(Again, just point at and scan his disc using your smartphone camera or click here to see his story).
